SEW uses the best practices of second-language acquisition. We emphasize listening and speaking skills and take great pride in our own text, Cuando Una Está Decidida. Students receive thirty hours of instruction weekly. Morning classes are held on a local university campus. Class sizes are very small, and all our instructors hold college degrees. Afternoon activities include tutoring, seminars, site visits and interviews with local activists and community leaders.
